- Which exam boards do you cover?
- I cover the main exam boards, including AQA and OCR.
- Do you tutor in person or online?
- Sessions are held in person at my home workshop in Sale, near Walkden Gardens. I don't currently offer online sessions.
- What year groups and levels do you teach?
- GCSE (Year 10 and 11) and A-level (Year 12 and 13) Biology.
- How are sessions paid for, and what's the cancellation policy?
- Sessions are paid by BACS before or on the day of each session. For 1:1 tuition, at least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Group sessions cannot be refunded but resources will be emailed. If you'd prefer to pay monthly this can be arranged.
- Do you offer trial sessions?
- I like to get going as we mean to go on, so all sessions are paid for. The price includes refreshments and printed resources, and you'll have had a free 15-minute consultation beforehand to make sure it's the right fit.
- How do parents track progress?
- I don't offer formal written reports, but I'm happy to send updates via text or email whenever you'd like one.
- What experience do you have?
- I have been teaching for 20 years and tutoring for the same length of time.
- Do you offer any other subjects?
- Not currently, but I might be able to pass on contact details for other tutors.
